    I was going to purchase this particular item from the price gouging behemoth that is Micro$oft. That is until I noticed on the back of my cable box an ethernet port (labled “network”).

    Now why on earth would I (or anyone for that matter) spend 80+ dollars for wireless capabilities when I can run a 3 foot ethernet cable from my 360 to my cable box???

    I’m still irked by the fact the 360 never came with built-in wireless, so this is a small victory for me. And I’m loving it!

    Now of course if you don’t have a digital cable box with an ethernet port my point here is moot, so spend away!

    Oh and for the record I have AT&T U-Verse as my cable/internet provider.

    It’d be a great product if it had come with the installation CD. I can’t get my xbox to connect online and it sucks.

    my kids blew their hard-earned money on this. it would not work with two different access points without gacking up and freezing the game, even when I ran the access points to with 4′ of the xbox. then I ran a cable the rest of the way to test, and lo, the xbox ran beautiful. pulled out an ancient 10Mbit Wifi Cat-5 drop from Buffalo, plugged a short cable into the drop and the Xbox, and WIRELESS, MICROSOFT-less smooth as silk, and MSFT doesn’t know any better. Mfgrs are just ripping kids off and with stuff that doesn’t work.
